Support us by choosing us as your Co-op local cause
This scheme runs for a year from 20th October 2024 to 18th October 2025. Funds raised will support our group activity in 2025/26 and help to keep them free for the people we support.
The Local Community Fund scheme donation will be proportionate to the number of people who select us as their cause.
We need all our colleagues, supporters, volunteers and service users to select Improving Lives as their cause. If you are not a member you will need to join, this costs £1 https://www.coop.co.uk/membership
Once you have a membership or if you are already a member you can log in via the website or app and ‘choose a local cause’ as its linked to you home postcode you may need to use the search facility to find us by increasing the distance and looking under the mental wellbeing category. You can also use our cause link https://membership.coop.co.uk/causes/87079
We are linked to stores in Arnold, Sherwood, Carrington and Bulwell but it doesn’t matter where you live or which Co Op you might shop in. This also includes co op funeral services if you’re planning ahead.
Please encourage anyone you know who maybe be a regular Co Op shopper or who has a membership card tucked in the back or their wallet or purse to pick Improving Lives as their nominated cause for the year ahead. Thank you!

Did you know that whenever you buy anything online – from your weekly shop to your annual holiday – you could be raising free donations for Improving Lives with Easyfundraising?

£5 / month - equipment for our art group for a year
£10 / month - recruitment costs for a volunteer
£30 / month - room hire for one of our support groups for a year
£80 / month one-to-one support with one of our professional support workers for a year
